Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7)

Hello everyone and welcome to my Blog!!

I decided to start a blog so that it makes it easier to share up to date information with you all without forgetting who we told what to.

In the past year my health has been steadily declining and I am at the point of needing dialysis. I was scheduled to have surgery to place a catheter in my stomach on November 5 but it was cancelled due to a family emergency with the surgeon. I was then referred to a new doctor and our prayers have been heard; a new date has been set for December 15!

After my surgery takes place I will have 4 weeks to recover and then Keith and I will go to Kamloops for a 4 day course learning how to administer "peritoneal dialysis." From then on I should be able to take my treatments at home myself. I ask that you please continue to pray for me and my family as we deal with this new way of life. We also ask you to pray that a suitable donor may be found, we are so thankful that dialysis is an option but still hope and pray that a kidney transplant becomes available.

Thank you so much for sharing your time and may the Lord bless you and your families!
